Learning guitar used to be an expensive and long process. Before the internet you had two options for learning guitar; You either paid a tutor or you taught yourself by ear and using theory books which. Luckily nowadays there are affordable ways to learn guitar, some are even free. So let’s get started with our list.

1- Youtube (Price-Free)

Youtube is a great source for free guitar lessons. It offers everything from tips, to scales, learning songs/solos and everything you need to know about the gear you’re using.

2- Fender Play (Price- $9.99/month or $89.99/annually)

Fender play is a great app and web platform for learning and tracking your progress for guitar with an infinite number of lessons.

3- Yousician (Price- $119.99 a Year)

Yousician takes a more video game approach to learning how to play guitar. The main flaws with this option is that there is no monthly option so you’re basically stuck with it even if you don’t like it and it’s only for cell phones and tablets.

4- Guitar Tricks (Price $19.99 a month)

Guitar tricks is a bit similar to Fender Play. They offer thousands of lessons brought to you by many teachers. They teach everything from beginner to advanced including many genres.
